Our family made a decision to never feed our pets factory-processed food made from imported ingredients after the wave of stories were reported of pets dying from tainted pet food and pet treats. We were horrified to know that pet food companies were trusting the safety and quality of ingredients imported from countries that don't even have acceptable human rights laws!

We read our food and treat labels and found by-products, checmical preservatives, and even ingredients we couldn't pronounce. Most treats we found were loaded with calories and had no nutritional value.
